Depth of oval question

Have seen conflicting information on the preferred depth of an oval. Have seen 59-63% and in another article 65-69%. Your information will help me in my search for my diamond. Thank you everyone. Reds

Heck, I don't even know how an oval's depth % is measured. I suppose you might be looking at different preferable depths based on the oval's aspect ratio.
