Depth of Diamond Question

I am eyeing a diamond on James Allen and was wondering if the depth matters. I'm getting it to match and make a pair of stud earrings. I already have one stone from a previous ring.

Matching stones yourself is not easy. Do you hace all the info from the stone you have (depth, crown angles, pav angle, etc)? If yes, then it's doable. Depth isn't as important (within reason) to me as table size when matching. But I wouldn't pair a shallow 60.5% depth with a deep 62.4% depth.

Thank you for the quick response! Yes, I have the stats for what I have. Table is off by 1% and depth is off by .7%.

Hmm, how similar are the other angles? 1% on the table could be ok (56 to 57 often looks really similar). I think 59-60 starts to look different though

I guess what I'm trying to say is I feel like there are these "limits" where things start to look different to my eye. Depth in the 60.0-60.5 range looks different than depth in the 61.5 range, and 60 table looks different than 58-59 table
