Deposit on my sapphire!!!!

I really wish I had a picture. My boyfriend just put a deposit on my sapphire for my engagement ring. It''s a 3.17 Carat Royal Blue Sapphire and it sparkles and has an excellent cut. It''s a beautiful pear and not lop sided at all! I''m having a custom head made for it, with tiny little hearts and the head. I''m using the Simon G. setting LP1145 which I think is beautiful. Hopefully I will get it soon. He''s buying it from Gemsmith, if yon live in NJ I''d definitely check them out.

It's bigger than I thought it would be. It's a chubby pear 9.8 x 7.8 x 5.5 mm
I love it, and I got to choose from 5 different stones they ordered in and of course I picked the most expensive one!
but I didn't picked it because of the price, it was the most beautiful stone and the lady let me go outside to look at it in the natural sunlight and it was gorgeous. It sparkles like a diamond, doesn't have a dead point in it at all or window, and is a very deep perfectly cut stone.

Should have it soon, he has to order the setting and then the custom head will be made, so hopefully by our anniversary date I'll have it by October.

I can hardly wait eitiher!! My boyfriend''s best friend''s fiance said to make me wait about a year so that I''ll be surprised!!! I can''t wait that long!!! Hopefully he won''t make me wait that long. Hopefully, when he pays off the stone he''ll let me take one picture of it, to show you guys.
BTW, my boyfriend says you have a cool dog, we have a siberan husky. He supposed to be brown and white. but he''s more white and very mellow and like a toy. You could do anything to him.
