Thanks for the advice on Excel....I think I may have found my "W" diamond....

You''re welcome. :) I noticed when I was looking for mine that they seemed to have several. Diamonds by Lauren, while they have absolutely gorgeous things, seem to be to be more in the fancy colors. Or maybe that''s just what I''m looking at when I visit the site!

I have emailed Excel to get pics, asset and Idealscope. Haven''t heard from them yet. Do you happen to have pics of your W ring?

No pictures, I''m very lazy about that, lol. It''s not nearly as dark as Amythyste''s (I know I spelled that SO wrong) because it''s only .71 and a round with medium blue fluoresence. But I love that it''s very yellow in some lights and not so yellow in others. You may want to call Excel - my emails ended up in their spam, but once you get through they''re very helpful. I can''t wait to see what you get!

Seems like I have read by some PS''ers that pear shapes will show more yellow?
Is your W mounted in white/yellow or platinum? Just thinking that maybe using a yellow gold head would enhance the yellow stone.

Yeah, a pear should show more yellow from what I understand. I think I phrased my post badly - there is no doubt in any light that this diamond is yellow, just sometimes it looks ''more'' yellow. It''s in yellow gold with white baguette sides.
