    Following are the specs on the center stone of a ring that I will soon be receiving. I purchased the ring online armed with only a limited knowledge of diamonds, but would love to have some expert opinons on what I might expect to see -- Many thanks

    Measurements - 7.51 x 5.06 x 2.87 mm
    Weight - 1.03 carat
    Depth - 56.7%
    Table - 69%
    Girdle - Thin
    Culet - None
    Polish & Symmetry - Good
    Clarity - VS2
    Color - H
    Fluor - None

    Hi Kateek,



    You also might want to check Assistance for the shopper looking for Fancy Shaped Diamonds
    written by David Atlas.

    As you will find out, table and depth alone cannot be used to analyze the cut. Fancy diamond should be seeing.

    If you paid reasonable price and like the diamond you shouldn't worry. Otherwise show it to independent appraiser.
