I didn't pull the trigger yet, but close to 100% on this setting.

MRSSPARKLES KINDLY POSTED A PIC OF THE RING BELOW \/\/\/
My taste is simpler, and it''s not what I would choose for myself. For the pave look, I think it is great! I love how the angle of the band turns into the prongs. From what I can tell from the website it seems to be good quality.
This is the Tzivoni 4 prong tulip ring with curved prongs you wants us to see:-
I like the "floating head" and the tulip shape - very elegant.
But I think the prongs are too thick. Not sure if it'll look just as good/better/worse if you have them tapered down on the top. And this would mean having pave diamonds that are graduated down in points. Or that the centre diamond has to be a BIG one. This design won't do for 1 ct diamonds. IMHO, 1.7 and above would be swell. Correct me, if I am wrong. I am not a pro in proportions - just my gut feel.
With a floating head, you will need to check it regularly that the diamond is secure. This is the hazard of a floating design.
The center stone will be about 1.5 ct. my girl has a size 4.5 finger and 1.5 looks big on her hand. I have been in contact with gemnation over the phone, and they answered every question I asked, and have been helpful. Tomorrow afternoon I will make the transaction. Thanks for the replies!
