Hey everyone,
I have thoroughly enjoyed learning so much from everyone on this site. After a lot of education and deliberation, I am finally starting to narrow down my search for a diamond for an engagement ring, but I need your help to find the right stone. I have decided that I want an oval diamond within the following parameters:
Carat: 1.5+
Clarity: VS2+
Color: G+
Depth: 59% - 63%
Table: 55% - 60%
L/W: 1.4 - 1.5
Polish: E
Symmetry: E
Price: Up to $18K
Minimal Bow Tie
The link below is the closest I could find to the parameters listed above. However, when I spoke to a person at JA, she said people typically like a 3% differentiation between table and depth % in oval stones as it affects the stone's sparkle. I haven't heard of this and this stone looks pretty good to me, but I am a beginner and really don't know what I am looking at.

Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
