DBTY layering question

Everyone was so helpful yesterday that I thought I'd pose another question to the experts! :wavey:

I've decided to buy a 0.10ct dbty style necklace in RG. I plan on wearing it alone but I also like the idea of layering. I've not done this before so would like your opinions on what would work best!

If I went down the SS route I might be able to afford something from T&co. Would mixing metals in this way look nice? My rings are platinum.

At T&co I like the look of the small bean or a key (which is best, small or medium?), or the "love" necklace. Do you have any other suggestions?

I'm based in the U.K. So would rather buy from the uk if poss to avoid customs charges.

Since your hand and your neck are far away (usually), I think mixing metals from an aesthestic point of view would be fine.

Are you talking about a single .10 pendant or are you talking several 10 pointers? If it were me I would probably go with
gold and not get it from Tiffs (but still get good quality stone) but that's just me.

The dbty is just a single 0.10 in RG. If I got a layering necklace from T&Co it would be SS.

I think it is a personal preference but I only like mixing metal when I'm wearing T & Co keys. I wear 3, each w different metals. I would only wear my Plat DBTY w white metals. But, you may have to try it to see how it looks. I do wear 3 DBTY bracelets (2 WG and 1 RG) together and love how it looks. Although, thinking your DBTY is small, it may look good w anything. As a thought, maybe another DBTY. I wear my mother's sometimes and like them together.
