Here''s how it was before the Quest repair

The stone has been sent out to be set in a ring that will fit the 6.99 diameter (new stone is 1.27 carats)
I was so excited I forgot to get pics of the stone!

It will take 4 weeks.

oh, more about the new setting (I can''t help it!!!!)

It is not a cross-prong or trellis setting, even though it gives that appearance. It is actually set on a peg and the detail on the side is ornamental.
There is no longer that cathedral thing on the side, providing a nicer view of the diamond when I''M looking at it on my hand.
Since the ring is so similar to the previous one, I figured it wouldn''t be TOO noticeable that I changed it out.
When I saw the little cross-prong thing on the side with the cute little diamons I just fell in love.
The color is rich 18k and the smaller proportions look better with me wedding band, too.


Yes, I think there is a new verison of OCD, it''s DOCD.
