david yurman custom order ring question??

hi, i ordered a mens ring in a 7.5 and unfortunately they said it will come in about 10-12 weeks! its a black onyx stone ring so that's y it couldnt just be resized. does anyone here have experience with the custom order and know if it will take less time?? thanks
