David Klass Uber Bench

Ive seen a lot of you talk about David Klass and his Uber bench. I reached out to Amy and she mentioned that the Uber bench sets a lot of rings for Mrs. B. Im not sure how this is, but im wondering if there are any "uber bench" examples that anyone could share? Particularly any channel setting

Josh, I have an understanding with DKJ (David Klass Jewelry) that all my pieces are set by their uber bench. I believe they now have 2 benches working there that meet that quality. The one I use is slow and expelive because of it, but his work is stellar. It's always even, symmetrical, clean - all the things I value most highly in bench work.

If you look at the thread above, you'll see my latest set from DKJ. But here are a few other pieces....

























Anyway, I hope this gives you some idea, tho, as LLJsmom said, scroll through my threads and take a look at some of the other (many and varied!) projects I've done with DKJ.

The rubies in this piece were channel set by DKJ. I don't know if it was the uber bench.

My wife has had a lot of pieces made by David and Amy, see my threads, including one on the ruby band LINK

I don't know if we've ever had the uber bench, but please let me know if you can find a fault in any of the pieces!

These two and the eternity ring in the 2nd photo are fairly detailed with lots of smaller stones set, as you can see. They were made by DK. That said I didn’t specify the Uber bench. Just some POV for his standard bench.

I saw your comment regarding needing 'even, symmetrical, clean' work and this is precisely what I fear about making custom ring(s).

I know I obsess over small details and your comment really spoke to me. I had planned to go with DK in the near future, in this thread it mentions their uber bench? I gather this is someone who works specifically for DK?

Is this someone who can be requested? Although my design is fairly straight forward, I know if a prong is offset or there is a mismatch is widths/heights between the rings (the goal of my whole design), I will obsess over it terribly.

Since you seem to have similar feelings and experience in having custom work made, is this the person who you recommend?
