David Klass - how was your communication?

Hi there! Just recently found my stone and am going to move forward on my ring. I have been emailing with David about the setting and what I would like but I do find that the responsiveness is a little on the slow side. I sent an email to him on Thursday and have yet to hear back. I'm not quite used to that - the other jeweler that I was originally going to work with would respond within a few hours.

Can anyone tell me your experience with communication with David?

He's a pretty busy guy, but I have good luck when I call.

Sometimes it is the same day, and sometimes it takes several days. I think DK is a one man shop, so I cut him some slack.

In my experience his communication is great; David usually responds within a few hours. In some cases however it may take a few days. He is a great guy so for me that's not a problem. I have noticed that he is a true Pricescope favourite due to his great prices, quality and customer service.

It will definitely be worth the wait. I now have 5 rings from him and I love the outcome.

Calling was the trick. He got swamped with emails and we are now in regular communication. He seems super nice and I love his work.

I agree, David is great to work with. Very fair prices and very accommodating. I find he generally answers me within the same day, but it sometimes takes a bit longer. I agree, he is a busy guy, but he is busy for a reason. He has an excellent reputation around this forum and I'm willing to wait a day or two for a response and actually feel a bit guilty if I rush him as I know how busy and hard working he is.

Wow, sounds like you ladies have had some decent luck with getting a hold of him. I left two voicemails for him about six months ago and never got a call back. I finally gave up. :/
