I felt a little left out of everyone but me having a Barry. I wanted one... no I NEEDED one. So, I got one

She's moody... in such a good way! Sometimes she's minty, others she's just green And oh the flashes of
sunshine yellow she throws off. She's a spring daffodil all rolled up into a stone.

The only thing I did was adjust the brightness and contrast to get rid of the overall greyness of the picture . The rest is in the focus. The stone is just a smidge narrower than the width of the holder (it gave it a grey halo) It was taken on my deck which is grey. I stuck the holder into a bracket for flower pots, the groove is a perfect size to hold the gem-holder.

This is the photo before I adjusted the brightness and contrast. The first photo was more realistic to what I actually saw.

I am starting to love PS as much for the photography as for the stones! Davi, that is such a cool photo! It looks as if you devoted a good deal of time setting up this shot to get the perfect artistic rendering of that tourmaline...

Oh, and was I supposed to comment on the stone too?!

You bought the plant bracket on purpose to fit the gem holder, didn't you, Davi? Smart dude. Great tourm! Pic ditto, lots of work in that. It will look super w/its colored diamond sibs.

Now it's my turn -- must be the only PSer without a Barry stone, not from lack of wanting one! I'll catch up to y'all soon!
