Thanks to dreamer_dachsie posting the ring that Coati made for her mom, I was reminded how I was dying to do something similiar last year. A burnished set diamond for a right hand ring in a satin finish.
I''m looking for the darkest white metal though. Platinum is too light. Do I have any other options? The stone''s going to be .50ct and the width of the ring will be the same as the stone. not sure if I''ll use of the ones I already have, or get a new colorless one for this project.
The ring design is the one in the middle by Niessing. I''m considering having them do it and emailed them asking about the different colors, but no response yet and this was two nights ago
I know the design is too modern for some but I love it.
So are there any metals that have the dark grey color of the one all the way to the right in the pic? (i used photoshop)
This is a valentines day gift from my husband. We do it the usual way, I decide what I want, get it, give it to him, then he wraps it and gives it back
