damage from manicure drying UV lamp?

Just curious - if there an effect on diamonds from those UV nail drying lamps found in nail salons? Reason being, the other day when I got my nails done (I usually don''t wear jewelry), but I had my ring on and the gal sent me over to the nail dryer.
I was a little nervous sitting there with my ring totally exposed under the lights. Even though it was only for 4 minutes, what do you think?

Not sure what UV light does to a diamond. I sit under the machine all of the time.

not a problem in the world.
One of the main sorting processes for rough diamonds uses very strong short wave UV light like Xrays to make diamonds fluoresce. This would cause more damage than anything your hand can tloerate :
