Dallas jewelry store recommendation

I''ve browsed this site for quite some time and finally decided to post. I''m planning on getting engaged soon and I am wondering if anyone happens to have a recommendation for a jeweler here in Dallas. I''d prefer to not go the Mall route. I''ve looked at a few random jewelers I''ve driven past, however some of them frankly seem pretty cheesy. Any ideas on what to look for in a jeweler or any recommendations? Thanks!

I haven''t considered buying online. My initial thoughts on that would be I''d like to see what I''m spending thousands on before I spend it. Any reputable sites that you know of?

I was actually going to suggest www.whiteflash.com. As Belle said, they are in Houston, and they''re a great business to go with. My fiance purchased my center stone from Whiteflash, and they have numerous good reviews on PriceScope.
