Hi all , first post , i have this lovely i believe Czechoslovakian or Slovakian ring.
Photo will show what i describe. Ring marked Rabbit head no3 , initials KZT. also stamped 900
I cannot find who KZT mark belongs to but i do know about the rabbit head 3.
Also stone i do not know if crystal or paste glass or perhaps other gem type.
Any help most appreciated.

The 900 would be for 21ct gold.
900 can also be for platinum but obviously this ring is yellow metal.
I’d put my money on the gemstone being a garnet.

Wouldn't 21ct gold be 875 (=1000*21/24)? Also, it doesn't look yellow enough for high-carat gold. I'm thinking it could be 90% silver, gold plated.

Agree that the stone looks like a garnet.

N.B. I have zero actual knowledge of Eastern European jewellery.

Hi all repliers , the maker name KZT is what i dont know about & the stone which is interesting to hear you both think garnet. I was thinking Czech crystal at best because i thought just a tad too red for garnet but in saying that i have not had the stone tested yet so i maybe wrong & you guys correct. I gave all details to try & get the maker name , the ring itself is gold on silver (900 , rabbit head 3 ) that much i do know. Cheers

I look forward to hearing what you find out. The 900 marking on some of my European pyrope garnet pieces is supposedly 90% European silver, although have a gold finish.

KZT is maker’s mark for Kovozavody Turnov (Metalsmithing factories of Turnov). Turnov is in what is today Czech republic, the Czechoslovak silver hallmark on your piece started being used after June 1957. IMG_3464.jpeg
