Good evening!

I’ve reached out to CvB twice in the past two weeks and still have had no response. I emailed her through her website and her Etsy page. Is she not taking on new clients right now? Maybe she’s on holiday? I have no doubt she’s incredibly busy, but is it normal for her to be difficult to reach?
Any insight would be great! Thanks.

I wish I had some answers for you, but you aren’t alone! I’ve never been sucessful in getting in touch with/maintaining contact with her.

I hope others have some good ideas!

I had the same experience, I think Etsy can be wonky w/ messages. She replied to an email form submitted via her website and then I didn't hear back after my next message. It's too bad there's no phone #....

She does stay super busy and they went on vacation for around a week recently. I do think those messaging systems are a little unreliable.

Her business email is caysie @ cvbinspireddesign.com (remove spaces).

Hopefully that will work!

I have contacted CVB before, our first communication was great. I even sent her a line drawing and waited for her to get back to me. Long story short, she never came through on the project. Good luck! She does great work. I was less than satisfied with our communication and moved on to another vendor. I still hope to do business with her at some point. We just had an awful start for a first time project with her.

I love working with Caysie! I’ve made many a purchase through her... my collection is like a little CVB museum.

She occasionally doesn’t get back to one or two emails that I send, but I’ve not had major issues as opposed to some other vendors I have worked with. I haven’t been in contact recently so not certain about holidays etc but occasionally she’s caught up with family matters or is away.

I usually contact her via email, though at one point we were communicating via FB messenger (I no longer use social media so this is not an option for me anymore. She was very good about replying to me quickly through this though.)

The email that I contact her through is the one diamondseeker posted above.

I’ve had great experience with Caysie. It’s a good idea to contact her using the email address diamondseeker2006 provided.

This has been exactly my experience. First contact, fine. Follow through, absent. Quite disappointing because she is so gifted and her work is beautiful.

I have always used her work email and it never made a difference.

Needless to say, I have had great experience with Caysie, too, for multiple projects! One thing I will say, and this applies to ME , is that one has to have a pretty clear idea of what they want when the first contact is made. She has to have an idea of what you want before she can draw it up. She wants to make original designs, but there has to be a clear vision. For example, right now I have unset stones because I can't decide what I want, and she cannot read my mind. So I do not expect her to draw anything for me until I am certain. She stays crazy busy and works too many hours. All I can say is that I feel very thankful to have her pieces which will be heirlooms for my children and grandchildren. I hope you are able to reach her, September Blue!

Oh yes... she is holding onto quite a few stones for me which are unset. Till I have clear direction with where I want to go with those, it doesn’t matter how many what ifs I have thrown out there about them, we haven’t gotten anywhere. I always have to say ok let’s get this one started, this is what I’m after etc

Communication/follow-through was a big problem on our project with Caysie. She does beautiful work, but it comes with its trade-offs.

Yep. This is me right now.:lol::lol::lol::lol: I have to make up MY mind before she starts anything, because I am so wishy washy. I bet I drive her insane.

I hope you are able to get in touch with her because she definitely creates beautiful works of art.

I have never had a problem with communication with Caysie. She is usually very prompt at answering considering how busy she is and puts up with a lot of questions from me and walks through each thought/idea process with me. IG messaging can be very unreliable. I think the email above is the best way to go. I hope you are able to get in touch and create something beautiful :)

I totally understand this. Its so hard to nail it down. Good luck!

I'm super wishy-washy on my e-ring design but I know what I want for the band.
I'll try the email DS provided! Fingers crossed!
Thanks, everyone!

@soxfan I know, poor Caysie! I know I drive her crazy, too! But I am inspired to try to make a decision and set something now!!!

She posted an AVC in an Acacia last night that is killing me. Why does she post things that cause me to have to buy another diamond???? :eek-2:

I know I probably drive her crazy too but she is beyond patient with me. I saw the ring on IG too and was thinking I "need" one. Her IG kills me!

That AVC in the acacia is divine!!!

I have a current setting in process now and have had several past projects as well. She has been extremely patient with me, I'm sure I drive her crazy too. I have found that her communication response is most likely relevant to how busy she is at any given time. There have been times that I sent reminder emails when I didn't hear back. I can say that her designs and work are certainly worth it.

I just started a project with her (finally) & have not had any communication issues. I'm the one holding things up at this point!

If you'll let me know when you have emailed her, I can check with her to make sure she got it as I am talking with her about my own project!

@diamondseeker2006 I emailed her (finally) and I hope I hear back relatively soon. There's absolutely no rush on my end.

Okay, I messaged Caysie because she is receiving my stone today for a project, and I mentioned you had emailed her. She immediately checked and she had no new emails this morning. She checked spam. So if you emailed her this morning, it has not gone through. She told me she will be out of her office until late afternoon so I may not get to talk to her again today. The next time I talk with her I will check, but it might help if you can give me a word from your subject line or the first letter of your email address so she can tell if she has your email or not once she checks again.

Worst case scenario, you can email me through LT, and I can give her your email address!!!

I appreciate your offer!
She reached out and we’re going to work on something soon. I know she has a bunch of things to work on and I’m in no rush at all. I’m so excited :appl:

Good! I am glad you two finally connected! It is exciting!
