I just purchased a 3 carat EC and am wondering about the cut grade. Stats as follows:
Measurements 9.81 x 6.83 x 4.79 mm
weight 3.010 carats
total depth 70.1%
table 63.3%
girdle thin to medium
culet very small
polish excellent
symmetry excellent
color G
clarity SI1 (very eye clean)
crown height 12.7%
Apparently, everything looks pretty good except the total depth. Does this depth make the diamond appear darker than one with a lesser depth? I would appreciate anyone''s opinion on the overall quality of this stone.(including what price one would pay) Thanks!!!
