Hi,
I am looking for a diamond in the .85-.95 carat range, H color or above and an SI 1 or 2 (depending on how bad the SI2 is...)
I have a budget of $4,000 for the diamond.
After carefully searching, I found the diamond below and called to reserve it on JA. Once on the phone with the representative, he told me that I would not be happy with this diamond because it was "Cut too shallow for an engagement ring and probably wasn't going to be eye clean." He stated that the diamond was perfect for a pendant, but not a ring. When I inserted the specs into the HCA, this diamond does excellent. Is there ANY validity to what he is saying about the cut?
Depth=60.5
Table=57
Crown Angle= 34.5
Pavilion Angle=40.6

Any advice on this diamond would be appreciated. I know it does have inclusions, but I also wasn't sure how visible they would be to the naked eye.
