lol cept in that case its obstruction not leakage causing it.

Whats the lenth and width of the rough?

L 9.00x W6.45mm. +/-
CH..., approx 35-40% I assume (based on eye judgement).
Pav..., from here to eternity... (approx.)
2.gif

As long as it makes sense when it comes to the light/flash return and dont get messed up with the table/crown reflections...

8.8-8.6x6.3-6.2mm range, 31.5 could be a go (i think), 40% table should be safe..., (unless you go crazy with CA''s...

CA 40% 56/45/38 work?
Once I have the crown nailed down will work on the pavilion I can tell ya 54/41/31 dont work with this crown.

CA 40% 56/45/38 work? It might..., does it work on the software? 56 @ C1 might be a bit of a problem but can only know when the cutting is done.

Try to keep the CH at around 25-30%..., table can be 40%>

t 34 c: 50/45/38 don''t work either.
Any suggestions?
This is the most finicky cut iv ever worked on, both those crowns work on asschers.

try C48-37-29 (corners need to be a bit shallower)
P54-44-34 (same with the corners...) (I am trying to stay away from 41..., but am not sure it will work...
41.gif
)

Or work within that range...

Dont forget Asscher corner breaks are at a 45 degree symmetry..., which in this design they are not!!!
Both Pav and Crown corners are to be calculated differently as their light return work in mysterious ways in conjunction with the mains...

Who said designing Diamond cuts is easy....

time for a break will get back too this later lol

Dinner time back later, and yes this is the 11th design.

Iv came too the conclusion that a higher crown is going too need a smaller table.
Any steeper on the C angles and light return takes a big hit or the angles don't work.
a 20% CH with a 45% table is another nice combo I came found but 20% is a little low for a monster.

here are the same angles on a 26CR asscher.
