Can anyone recommend Ostasz Studio or Allure Diamonds for custom e-ring settings? I have a round brilliant 1.77 D SI2 and am looking to spend less than $3000 on a custom e-ring setting like the one in this post:

Ostasz Studio (http://www.ostaszstudio.com): A wholesaler in the diamond district highly recommended Marek Ostasz and said that while he is pricey, his work is incredible. According to the wholesaler, Ostasz has made custom jewelry for American billionaires and the Saudi royal family (including million dollar+ pieces). Marek inspired my trust and confidence when I spoke with him, and I tend to think he is the real deal. He said you don''t have to pay if you don''t like what he''s made. Like Leon Mege, Marek supervises his studio employees rather than making each piece by hand entirely by himself. His prices seem several hundred dollars lower than Leon Mege, and his turn-around time is much shorter - about 10 days rather than 4+ weeks.
Allure Diamonds (http://www.allurediamonds.com): I stopped by their shop in the NYC diamond district and spoke with Alik Mavashev. Alik said he does all their custom work himself, by hand. (It''s nice to speak with the person who will actually make the piece.) He said he''s been making jewelry by hand since he was 15. He showed me one of his custom rings similar to a design my fiancee likes, and it seemed very well made. My fiancee liked it better than a similar one we saw at Sea Wave Diamonds next door (which is way less expensive and highly recommended on google). Alik''s prices seem to be a few hundred dollars below Ostasz.
Does anyone have any experience with, or reliable information about, either of these companies?
