Custom semi-bezel e-ring looks asymmetrical. What to do?

I got engaged recently and we had a semi bezel ring custom made from a wax followed by casting etc. I think that the bezels do not look symmetric in the final ring. One side looks thicker than the other. In the wax model the bezels look perfectly symmetrical.

I’m wondering 1) do people agree with this and 2) what could be done to fix the problem? Would they have to re cast the setting or could this be tweaked somehow?

Yes, I can see it. I have a good eye though for these things. The left side looks slightly thicker towards the bottom and slightly off center at the top. Take if off and turn it to the other side around and take another picture, just in case it’s the way the light is shadowing the ring.

Here it is flipped around and from a different angle.

Yes I see it too. Maybe they could shave down the one side a bit - go talk with the jeweler and show him your concerns.

That would bug me. I’m a very symmetrical person. Send it back to fix.

Yes, it's slightly thicker on the one side. Thankfully I'd bet that they can just polish it down to be equal; they should be able to use a mm caliper to check the thickness of both sides to ensure symmetry.

Pretty ring!
