Custom ring fix ideas

I got it about 2 months ago, its been sitting in my closet but everytime i put it on, all I can see is that it looks "off" and lopsided or just strange. I wanted to create something I love but I dont have good vision and the person I worked with didn't seem to either. I've reached out to DK to see what we can do. I may just end up using the 3 rounds. I dont know.

Well, if you can't come up with a design for all 5 that you're happy with, it makes sense to use 3 of the stones and put the other two aside for awhile. Better to get use out of some of them, than none, I would think.

Hi everyone
I had this ring made with all of my old stones (cuz I couldn’t sell) and I’m not sure I love it so need some input from experts here.
I wanted something different and unique to wear as a right hand ring but it looks off to me. My jeweler will help me but can. Only change it once.
It looks lopsided. Do you all agree or am I being too picky?
I wonder if I should change the pear because it’s just too small? Should I make the pear larger, or should I get an oval same size as the one on bottom left?
I need ideas on how to fix this as I don’t love it.

Please share your suggestions on how to have this remade to look better?

Not sure size of pear at moment
Lastly, does anyone like it as it is? Am I just not seeing it?

Is it your intention to always wear with your solitaire?

Im not sure I follow. I dont have a solitaire, this is one piece.

I really appreciate you all agreeing as I didn’t know if I was being too picky

I asked original jeweler what it would cost to make it like was posted earlier with the round off center
I think he’s offended I am even asking as I did visit the wax model at their location but it was like two minutes
I should have taken it home w me to wear for a week or so

I'd halo the pear. Or turn it 45 degrees and tweak the others to emphasize the asymmetry. With that "I dare you to ignore me" ACA, I'd make it startling.

Thank you! When you say tweak the others do you mean just move them slightly.
I tried drawing it out but I’m not the best.
Does anyone know someone who can draw me a plan ?
I wrote to dk but no response yet, I’m sure they are busy.
The ring was 2500 to make as they used my platinum and my stones so I’m paying for the work only.

I'd rotate the oval as well so the pear and the oval stand out as "different." The main stone and the two rounds could carry that. The eye sees those as expected and the pear and the oval are bold in their deviation.
I'm not a designer, find someone good. You have a great project here.

HI Everyone,
I heard back from DK. I asked him about these two designs and I think I am going to pick one of these and then decide later what to do with the pear and oval.

Right now, I am deciding between these two rings. I found this rose gold one on his instagram and i just loved it. Its more traditional 3 stone which i didn't want BUT its unique which I want. I love the rose gold with platinum dress.

I dont know how to put a vote on here. can you all help pick pick:

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! isn't it lovely. I am having such a hard time. I will wear it daily on my right hand, this is going to be so hard to pick. I did ask him what the cost would be to get a wax mold of both so I can try them on and see how they would look on my hand.

I am so torn as I want something unique and I love them both. the rose gold is similar to most but also so different and the simplicity is lovely.

the art deco one is also to die for., Hoping everyone weighs in on this.

thats what i am wondering too. The rose gold looks smooth and almost buttery to me. lol - his work is so lovely, I am leaning there.

For regular wear, I too would pick the rose gold one. Are you going to use rose? Or change up the metal color if you chose that one? I'm going to look at his IG to see if the side profile is there for that one too.

edited to add that the profile view isn't there. What would you do with that?

I would leave it rose gold with the plat dress. I love rose gold and the plat there just seems like it will make the stones look that much bigger as it’s almost like a slight double halo
I would leave it as is- I like the little bump there on either side of the side stones, not sure what that’s called.

I do wish there was more pics of it but I asked him to send me a 3d of both rings

Good choice. I just wasn't sure how you felt about rose gold. I love it, and agree the platinum next to the stones is a great addition. DK is my favorite so I really hope you'll enjoy the experience and come back and let us see hand shots. Oh, and if you get profile photos, please post them.

HI Guys
i was just looking online and I wonder if I should add my diamond melee from the ring to the rose gold bezel of the 3 stone.

I am trying to think of what to do with: diamond melee, oval and pear from original ring.
i am going to ask for a small Toi Et Moi ring to be made w/the oval and pear and then i just saw this idea and wondered if i should have my melee put around the center of the 3 stone in the rose gold part, so it would still be rose with plat dress.

what do you all think? Or should i leave it alone?

It's personal taste, but I would leave it alone and use the melee in the toi et moi. The oval and pear are small and I think the melee would give them some "oomph". Either halo them, or use them in the shank. Just a few photos. Not saying these should be the style that you choose, just examples.
