Hello Everyone,
I posted on here a few times looking for advice for a ring for my now-fiance. I set myself a deadline by which to buy a ring. I was almost set on a Beverly K from Pearlman''s, until I found the Quest Masterpieces thread the day before my deadline. I got in contact with Pete, and he negotiated with me over the phone. He was awesome- worked around my budget and did everything in his power to make sure I could afford what I wanted. We set up an appointment to see the diamond and seal the deal.
I could not believe it when I was ready. It went above and beyond my expectations, especially for the price I paid. You cannot beat Quest. The same week I found Quest I had gone to a different Northern Virginia custom jeweler. They want over $1000 more for the same diamond, and a lower quality setting. When I told them that was way over budget, he offered me an uncertified ring (a crappy one at that) for just $400 cheaper.
The customer service at Quest is second to none...we brought the ring in for a resizing last week and Pete explained everything to my fiance. He said we are welcome whenever for free cleaning, free resizing, etc. As long as my fiance comes in every 6 months for an inspection, any problems with the ring will be fixed free (if any diamonds fall off and are lost, they will be replaced free). I highly recommend Pete and Huan!
My fiance absolutely loves it and gets so many compliments on it!
Thank you everybody for your help and all your answers...this board was such a huge help!
Here is the info:
18K white gold, based on the Tiffany Legacy ring.
.70 carat, H, SI2, GIA Ideal cut.
There are over 40 small diamonds in this ring, all of H/SI2 quality.
