Gypsy and Tyty, your approval removed any remaining doubts out the window. Thank you so so so so much for all your help. As Tyty said, it was a long haul and many times I thought of just "settling" with a particular stone and/or setting, but you pushed me though it and the end result was the "perfect" ring. If everything goes as planned, the proposal is this month!!!
