Hey everyone, we''re almost done with another step in the process and I wanted to share with everyone here. You''ve been so helpful and supportive with everything!

If you have followed, you remember my e ring is a reverse cradle, which means the band fits inside the e ring. Thread here:
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-custom-celtic-e-ring.106760/

And you also know that when we brought it to the jeweler that is doing our custom bands, he tried to fix some of the issues with the poor work from Raru, who did the metal work to begin with, and he found a chipped diamond. Not only that but the sidestones were not the quality my fiance paid for, hence they ripped him off big time!

Story here:
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/damaged-diamond-are-you-kidding-me.116602/

None the less - we are going to work with this new, fantastic jeweler (Joel McFadden Designs JMDJewelry ) to RE-DO my engagement ring also, this time to the specs of the design my fiance did in the first place.

Anywho, we wanted our bands to be similar, but each show our style - remember mine will have the white gold rails when its inside my e ring.

I am more than pleased and we get to go see the waxes tomorrow and start talking about the engagement ring re-do! yay!

Thanks for reading, please tell me what you think!!

Here is my fiance''s. I am blown away by this one. He drew the design and its just so him! Also behind the knot is sandblasted, thats why its a different texture. :-)

Those look AWESOME!

Beautiful. I love Celtic jewelry. I have a Celtic cross I wear all the time and I had a silver RHR with Celtic knots that I lost

Congrats!

Very nice!

I feel we don't get to see nearly as many bands as e-rings. I'm so glad you posted yours! These are absolutely exquisite. Also, wondering if anything ever got resolved with RARU re: the side stones?

Thanks everyone for the compliments, I am so pleased with these!

And thanks for following up mayachel, no, no resolution. They believe they are at no fault because they assumed they were correct in giving us the quality of the sidestones. However in an email with them, when we first sent the ring back to be fixed, my fiance wanted bigger sidestones to match the center - and they were triple in price. When we asked why, they said because the are bigger (obviously) and better quality. In my mind, this states that they knew the others weren''t matching the center as they previously stated.... hmmm..... we filed with BBB and are in the process of talking to my lawyer. I believe they should take responsibility, we just wanted to return the side stones for a refund, but they do not want to even hear it.

In the meantime, JMD has done an awesome job with the bands

, and we decided to scrap the whole Raru ring and just make it oh so much better (even though the design will stay semi the same, the quality will be there this time!) and ordered new sidestones. :-)

That is soo beautiful and perfect!! I love the design on his and that''s so cool he did the design himself! Yours is definitely lovely and delicate! Congrats on a gorgeous set!

They''re both beautiful!

These rings are stunning!!!!!!!

They both turned out beautifully!! I love the texture on his band, and yours is fabulous!

Brilliant! I have always favored rings that are off the beaten path and yours is just beautiful :) Unique, smart, creative, interesting, and just lovely... take more than a lifetime to tire of a ring like that :)

I''m so sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with them. Mainly, because as I mentioned in an earlier thread, I really liked the look of their pieces on their site! From years ago of looking...I think you''ve done a great job at clearly stating the issues you''ve had. I would certainly NOT use them in the future, based on your interactions with them.

I can''t wait to see the pics of your totally new revamped stylish ring!

Very cool rings!

Beautiful designs!! Please do continue this post with pictures of your redone e-ring when you get it. The original one''s design is already beautiful and intricate. Really curious as to how the new one would look with better workmanship and modified design.

I will! We went to the jewelers on Sat, OK''ed the waxes for the bands, OK''ed the wedding present (diamond celtic necklace fiance is having made for me for the wedding), and picked the new side trills for the re-do of the E ring.

Looks like the ering design is going to be MUCH more fluid. He wants to try and do the design headless so there is less going on and more showcasing of the knots and diamond. Can''t wait to see the CADs!!! :-)

Thanks everyone!
