Custom A. Jaffe Ring?

Hi everyone,
Pretty new here but I haven't seen anything similar. We're really interested in this ring, but our budget is a little bit smaller.

We're only interested in the setting. We would like to have a smooth knife edge band and at the base of the setting a small band of diamonds like this at either side of the setting base.

Not sure what our options are, who we can go to for a custom design, and not sure if it even fits into our budget. Is any of this even possible?

Any advice would be appreciated.

How much smaller is your budget? I'm not sure you could get this done custom for a lot less than 2.5k, but you could always get quotes. I would suggest ERD as a place to start.

Fair enough - thanks for the advice. Yes, we may have to consider increasing the budget, we'll see. Regardless of cost, do you think it would be possible to have a designer custom make something similar? I understand that for understandable legal reasons, they can't copy it exactly - I've read elsewhere on pricescope a 20% figure for replicas. All the modifications we want would be on the band (knife edge etc), but we like the setting as it is , or would the setting have to be changed slightly as well?

JuliaBJewelry on Etsy does custom settings, above is one I looked at that seems similar to the A. Jaffe you were interested in and is $795. I'm sure she could modify it to have pave on the sides as well if you wanted. She has a lot of other flower design settings, too. You should email her if you are interested in something different she is great, will get right back to you and answer all questions. I have purchased a beautiful ring from her and will be having her do a double halo custom setting for me soon! I highly recommend her! You can also email her that pic and see what she can do to make something similar as well. She definitely will get right back to you, she is great!

I love this setting too!!!! Erica made one about a year ago that top down looked a lot like it, I think it might have been a modified/altered Gabbie setting.... Email her the pic and ask for pricing to see if she could do it in your budget;
