I''m looking at a cushion with a 72% table...is that too big for a cushion?
Stats:
7.72x7.31x4.62
Depth is 63.1%
Table 72%
2 Carat, SI2, F, No fluorescence
The inclusion is a feather not visible to the eye on the corner, plus slight specks on corner...nothing black and nothing visible.
What would be a standard range to pay for this...or should I not buy because the table is too big? Will it loose too much light/brilliance.
Also, is there a difference between "cushion modified brilliant" vs. "cusion brilliant"?
Would greatly appreciate any replies.
Thank you.

I think 72% is too large a table. But it may look quite pretty. Have you seen it in person?
As a general rule, I'd prefer to stay under 65% table.

The difference between cushion brilliant and cushion modified brilliance is in the faceting pattern... It should not be a problem. Buy the one you prefer.

The asking price is around $11,000...is that right?
It did look nice, just a bit flat....but the big table did make it look quite large.
Is it true that a 72% table would make it NOT a cushion? I just want it to look like a true cushion and be of good value.
And an SI2 with a 72% table...I fear its not a good investment.
Any thoughts?
