Would love to see a video clip of a diamond with this design does Brian have any to show you? This is a modern cushion facet design and quite unique to BGD only.
The photographs look interesting, a lot of contrast which could lead to nice scintillation, but I am not sure what will happen around the edges and if the diamond will perform well in all lighting conditions.
A video would be most helpful in judging the light return of this new cushion design.

To the best of my knowledge Brian has not and does not offer videos. He did not do so in his Whiteflash days either.

It looks like a great cushion if thats the type you are looking for, Brian will be able to discuss the stone with you and give you a better idea of its performance and beauty, he has a superb eye and you can trust his opinion.

How large is this diamond? A K colour might show some warmth and depending if the stone is large then it might show more but you are looking for a small cushion if I remember rightly?

Personally, I like the look of it. The design seems to be more like a chuncky cushion (the cross in the middle with a small cutlet) but has
a little of the flashy cut thrown in.

I got it!

Now I need to decide -

Return my new Tiffany Victoria ring and do this setting from Brian:

Of put it in a temporary setting (less than $300) of some sort or no setting and wait awhile to set it.

Do you like the BGD setting? They haven''t done a cushion in it so they don''t have cushion pics.

I''m having them keep the diamond until I decide to set it or not.

I love that setting. But if it is not exactly what you want then I would wait.

This cushion may not be everyone''s cup of tea. It''s more important that you take a look at the various cushions and determine which one appeals to you the most.
