Cushion GIA report ~ pls let me know what you think

Hey guys I got the GIA report for the diamond i''m interested in. B/c im buying it online i won''t be able to see it in person, but i''m asking them to send me some pics. For now tell me what do you think should i be concern with the strong blue fluorescnce? also does the VG polish/ symmetry make it more possible that it would be a very good sparkly stone? or should i go for an ex/ex polish and symmetry? thanks

there is potential of course. make sure you find out how thin and where the ''thin'' part of the girdle is.

only if it effects the stone negatively. if you are dealing with a reputable vendor, they should be thorough and honest with a first hand evaluation of the fluorescence.

polish/symmetry alone have very little effect on the scintillation. having better p/s is nice but not absolutely necessary for the overall performance.

i don''t know if you relisted your original stone in this list on purpose, or if you didn''t realize that it is indeed the same. so, just in case, i thought i would bring that to your attention.

Can''t buy cushions by the numbers. Need pictures at least. But there''s no harm in checking one you like out in person as long as there is a good return policy.

In any circumstance i would love to see these diamond in person, but because i am buying it online.. i cannot, so i''m trying to pick out the best out of the bunch so less chances i would return it if im not happy with how it looks. I chose the one with the strong blue flor b/c i like that idea of it sparkling blue-white.. but a little scared that it would look oily or milky, which i would be calling the office and asking them to give me a detailed description of the flor and if it affects how the diamond looks translucent. If they inform me that this may be a problem..i just want to know which other stone i should considered instead.

2, 4, and 5 interest me most. But it''s all a personal opinion. If you''re working with a vendor you trust ask their opinion about the stones. Really, without pictures it''s hard to tell what a cushion will look like.
