Cushion experts...what do you think of this ASET?

I considering this diamond from ERD. What do you think of the ASET? It seems to have a dark maltese cross pattern as well. Do you think it's just the black background?

It’s a very decent ASET for a cushion but it’s not exceptional. And , that maltese cross is going to be prominent in real life because it’s not the background. It probably won’t be dead though, it will flash on an off as you move your hand/ring/diamond. I think it’s a nice stone and worth considering if it’s the size you want and in budget. You may want to have them ship it out to you unset though, and see what you think of it before committing to a setting.
