Maybe other cushion experts can explain it better, but I feel like there's something off with the table. It almost feels like there's a crevass in it or something. I like the clear faceting, but dislike the overall look due to what I'm seeing with the table.

Not an expert, but I think what you are talking about is the darkness under the table on the video as it rotates. I see it too. Overall, it's a pretty stone though with a clear facet pattern and avoids what you didn't want. It may be hard to find another from them in that range.

Not a lot in that size range at all. I went to a G for color and they have this and the inclusion can be seen on the video, but as a VS2, should not be seen in person.

They are basically the same price. One is an F, with the more elongated shape and the other is a G and is a more traditional cushion shape.

Could anyone give me their opinion on this cushion? I want to stay away from the crushed ice look and I need to buy through blue Nile. Thanks in advance

I believe the phenomenon experienced here is created by the angle at which the stone is positioned, and the lighting.
There is consistency across the stone, as the facet pattern remains the same, and the symmetry is beautiful.
It’s crisp, white, and well cut.
Please place this stone ON HOLD, and request an ASET image, along with more videos in different lighting environments. I believe, it’s a great performer, and you will see a lot of fire and scintillation from this stone, as it has a balance of small & chunky facets, without the crushed ice effect.

thank you for your response. This makes me feel more confident about it. Do you think I need to worry that it has a thick girdle? Also would the depth (69) and table (56) an issue?

Yes. That darkness is what I was worried about. The diamond you posted is beautiful, but I do think that tiny spot will bother me. Thank you for all your insight.

I would place the one you linked on hold. As another poster said, it may be the angle of the video. They should be willing to get the stone in and send you other videos and hopefully an ASET too.
