I''m looking at a couple of hearts and arrows square cushions at Good Old Gold. Since they are both on the warm color side, here''s some questions:

1. Will the magnificant cut and brightness do anything to distract from the warm color?

2. What kind of setting works best with a K or L color?

3. Has anyone see one of these in real life? If so, your opinions?

4. Any preferences between these two:

The cloud/crystal under the table of the first diamond would be a dealbreaker for me.

I''d ask GOG to call in the second diamond you''ve listed and take aset/idealscope images of it.
They could even do a video of the two side by side, which I think would give you the best comparison - this would also give you a better idea of colour.

Good luck!

Yes but you will still notice tint and warmth especially in low light conditions and from the side.

2. What kind of setting works best with a K or L color?
They are all about the same its a personal preference. Some people who want the stone to appear whiter go with Platinum, others who like the warmth prefer yellow gold.

3. Has anyone see one of these in real life? If so, your opinions?
Cushion HA's are gorgeous but faceup really small for their carat weight and are as expensive as ideal rounds. You get much more bang for your buck with the other cuts.

4. Any preferences between these two:

The first one SI2 is most unlikely to be eye clean and you will see that large inclusion so the second one is the only choice. But IMO if you like lower colors I'd go with an August Vintage over these http://goodoldgold.com/diamond/6566/.

I'm looking at a couple of hearts and arrows square cushions at Good Old Gold. Since they are both on the warm color side, here's some questions:

    1. Will the magnificant cut and brightness do anything to distract from the warm color? It will bring out the beauty of the diamonds for sure but these are big stones and will show some warmth, the warmth of these colours is something I personally feel the buyer needs to embrace. If not then maybe a higher colour would be better.

    2. What kind of setting works best with a K or L color? Personal preference, any setting could theoretically work.

    3. Has anyone see one of these in real life? If so, your opinions?

    4. Any preferences between these two: Both look great although it would be best to have the actual images loaded for the second diamond, as for being eyeclean with the first the only way to know is to get someone from GOG to look at it for you.
