I need advice on cushions from James Allen!
My budget for the stone is <4600 -- could go higher if need be, but I'd have to go with a simple solitaire to keep a budget of ~6k. Looking for something in the .9- 1ct, G-I, eyeclean S1 or better, larger/chunky facets. Fluorescence is welcome.

I started looking at James Allen closely when Niel recommended http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.87-carat-i-color-vs1-clarity-good-cut-sku-187345 . The sales assistant said she did not think I would be happy with the performance of the above round stone, but as I said to Niel, is it really a fair comparison when it's being compared to the performance of MRBs? This stone appears to be a transitional cut, so why is it graded as an MRB?
I love cushions, but I also adore OECs and transitional cuts. Can you guys help me narrow it down to three choices so that I can have a gemologist review them?
