So, I am on the search for a cushion cut diamond and, for around the same price as a number of F/G VS1 stones located, a supplier has found a D colour diamond.
I know you can't tell much from a diamond by specs alone (though see a photo below), but what do you guys make of these specs? The only things which worries me are the depth and table ratios.
Weight: 1.50
Dimensions: 6.77 x 6.24 x 4.39
Colour: D
Clarity: VS1
Cert: GIA
Sym: VG
Pol: VG
Gird: Med - Thick (faceted)
Table: 49%
Depth: 70.3%
I imagine this slgihtly small table could impair brilliance on the basis that not much light can enter/exit the diamond?
