I''m wondering if people could post their curvy/swoopy/custom bands. I have a uniquely shaped ering and am so torn about what to do for the wedding band. Hoping to get some ideas! Heres my ring. Thanks!

gosh that ring is so pretty on it''s own, I''d worry a wedding band might take away from some of the impact of the setting. have you thought about just getting a band to wear on your right hand?

Here''s my original wedding set. It is not close to the style of yours but you can see the swoop affect and how it fits into the ER.

it would be really cool if the ring clicked into that bar going through your band. So if it was like a mm wide and then had a hole in it... or something... I love that bar; if there was a way to get the band to interact with it, I think it would tie them together.

Here is my custom platinum 1.50 ct F VS2 with graduated yellow channel set side stones. This was my 25th anniversary upgrade, and I don''t normally wear it with a w-band. I do have a plain, narrow gold band to wear for housework, camping, gardening, and all those many times I don''t want to risk wearing this beauty.

wow...that''s an awesome ring. i agree with mrssalvo, though...it''s so striking, i''d be afraid a wedding band would take away from it. although bujiatang''s idea is a good one as well.

is there anyway to talk to the designer of the ring (or another good custom jewelry designer) and ask them what they think?

i also want to say there was a similar style ring in show me the ring or somewhere that had a wedding band that went right along the curve of the e-ring band...i''ll try to find it. it was a wrap around style like this but with tiny diamonds set into the band with a fair amount of space between each tiny diamond...

starspun has a similarly shaped setting, but without the bar...i was thinking of hers, but i don''t think it hers was the one i saw that had a band that went with it. i''ll keep looking, though...

What a beautiful ring! That looks a lot like a Claude Thibaudeau ring from the Pure Perfection collection. Their item # PLT-165 looks nearly identical to your ring, and states that it has a matching band. You might try finding a jeweler in your area who carries this line and might have a catalog showing the matching band.

I love the lines, it really is gorgeous!

that''s perfect!!!!

Ya I saw Claude Thibeadeau''s web site and thats probably what i''m leaning towards. Either that or just a totally different wedding band. What do you guys think of that thin band but with some diamonds in the band? Too much? Or just enough? hehe

ooo, I''d go with the matching band, that''s gorgeous AND get a diamond band for your right hand
