Hello all !
So, quite a few years back I bought this beautiful Edwardian 18kt white gold 3 stone ( 1 OEC and 2 transitional ) cut diamond ring. I have always wondered why one of my transitional cut diamonds has always looked a little off. I’m sure you will be able to guess which one when you look at the photos ( it’s on the left just fyi ) as it is quite noticeable when in low light only. I know it was a time when diamonds were transitioning into the beautiful round brilliants we have today. Why I did not ask at the time of purchase, I don’t know, and I have never taken it to a jeweler to ask, as it is what it is and it’s fire and brilliance are as good as the other transitional diamond on the right. I have worn it just as is for years now, and just thought it’s antique and not perfect. If anyone knows why this stone is cut so strange, I would so appreciate your kind knowledge. Thanks
I’m advance for your reply’s !
