My 2.34 carat natural color treated green diamond just recently came back and I love her! DKJ helped create a dream ring into reality. Something that looks like it came out of a fairy tale (or Lord of the Rings, as my younger son said).
No one would ever think diamond, I guess that’s the exciting part lol here are some pre sunset pictures.
Crafted in platinum and 18k gold.

Very elvish!

@Lentibulariaceae
Thank you, it’s a very unusual stone, the fluorescence helps in bright lights and natural light.

@Mreader
David and his team out did themselves with the gold details. Thank you!

@oncrutchesrightnow
I’m going to have to look that up, the leaf and flower are designed after moon flowers.

That is SOOOOO awesome!!!

Thank you so much,
I’m glad I took the risk of setting it this way, so your opinion makes me really happy with my decision. :)

Very, very cool!!

Oh I love this! The color is beautiful and DK did an amazing job on the setting. Any chance we can see some handshots?

Oh wow @Pumpkin Sparkles, this ring looks gorgeous on your hand!! It's beautiful, enjoy every minute of wearing it!

Such a gorgeous vivid green! I have a Green diamond eternity ring which is similar in colour

Thank you, I bet your band is stunning .
The faint green Fluor helps, it is moody and sometimes more of a forest green in dimmer lights but once it comes in contact with LED lights or the sunlight hits it it’s almost a neon tsavorite color.

Mine does the same! It was made by a jeweller who has now retired & moved back to Germany. I don’t know much about the stones so this is an education!

I don’t know much either, but it definitely peaked my curiosity enough to send it GIA, I didn’t purchase it as diamond so I was stumped to when it appraised as a diamond and tested as such. Either way Irradiated or not the green is definitely different and right up my alley in odd things .

I would love to see pictures of your band it sounds stunning. I haven’t ever seen them before I stumbled upon this stone. Then I researched lol.

Green is my favourite colour & hubby said he would buy me an eternity ring after the birth of our first (of many!) sons but he said it had to be green! I didn’t know much about stones back then & assumed it would be emerald (that was the only green stone I had heard of) but the jeweller advised against it saying it would be too soft. So he suggested green diamonds set in platinum. Now I want to find some LED lights at home & see if mine lights up like yours!!

Here’s a pic on a sunny day under shade:

That is stunning, and it look beautiful on you!
the green is probably just like mine if not really close. Only yours has a variety of similar shades of green :kiss2:.
Idk that may the fluorescence looking at how the brighter ones are the ones getting more light.
That is beautiful thanks for sharing.

Thank you! It’s my go-to when I don’t feel like wearing my full wedding set. Enjoy your green beauty!

It's beautiful! I love that it has to me a demantoid green color but you don't have to worry about it getting chips or scratches for the most part. Too many of my colored gemstones remain unworn for fear of damaging them. With your gorgeous ring you get the best of both worlds, color and durability.

Thank you so much for your kind words, =)2
I guess I hadn’t thought of it like that but you’re absolutely right, my opal doesn’t get much wear for that same reason.:cry2:

Wow!! How did I miss this post? I love that Lucious green and the yellow gold sides (butterfly or bee and Japanese Camelia?) make it pop even more. I love your ring!

Thank you so much, That was the purpose of the yellow gold! So glad I’m not the only one that thought that.
