There is a long running thread where people compare the vendors that they ordered from, and compared the vendor pictures to hand shots and real life pictures. It was very quickly apparent whose stones look true to life, and whose were darker IRL etc.

Tristan, I may have misunderstood but I think she's referring to pics of the "wearer" from more of a distance, as opposed to close-ups of just the hand (not necessarily including the face). There's a thread like it in SMTR.

Anyway, a very pretty Daniel M ring with a Gene Aquamarine ....

It's hard to get the pretty color from a distance and I swear I don't have weird liver spots on my arms, that was an antique mirror I was taking the pic in, so there were water spots on that.

The gold band is 18kt yellow 13.1mm wide with 39 micro micro diamonds

Yes, it was custom cut. I bought a piece of rough and Jerry Newman did the honors.
