I am looking at two stones at Blue Nile and I wanted everyone's opinion on them. They have the same depth and table, 66 depth and 69 table. Both with very good symmetry and excellent polish. Both are G, VS2 with GIA certs. One stone has a crown angle of 9.9% and the other one is not reported. Is it worth $300 extra to get the guarranteed crown angle. It is part of Blue Nile's Signature Ideal cut but I don't think that really says anything past crown angle and that it's square.
Also, how important is girdle thickness to the look of a diamond. Is an ext thin to medium a bad cut? Thanks again.
