Hey guys and girls
I've been doing some research for the last few days and have found what I think is a good diamond! My only reservation by looking at the certificate only is the crown and pavilion angle.
The details of the stone see as follows :-
Round brilliant
1.53ct
7.4 x 7.41 x 4.57
GIA XXX
No fluorescence
Table = 56%
Crown = 35 degrees, 15%
Pavilion = 41 degrees, 43.5%
Girdle = 3% medium faceted
Culet = none
Total depth = 61.7%
It is quite highly priced and was wondering whether it is worth it? It is just outside of the ideal proportions. Then again i am sure the ideal is even more rare and costly.
What are your thoughts on the potential light leakage and general proportions?
Many thanks in advance.
K
