Hi everyone. I have been lurking around and came across this 1.65ct on James Allen which I put on hold.

1.65ct, D, VS1
56% Table, 34.8 Crown, 40.7 Pavilion, 61.6% Depth
HCA score is 0.9

Unfortunately I was not able to obtain the Idealscope, the JA representative told me it has something to do with covid.

I thought its video on the website looks clean (almost too clean even). Is this a keeper? Thank you.

Perfection! Nice, crisp arrows, within PS ideal standards on angles, D will not have tint, and there were no noticeable inclusions. I’m also a sucker for tiny tables, but that’s a personal preference

Beautiful choice! The specs and image look good.

Thank you for the input. I noticed that many good diamonds on the forum have a "black ring" around the middle (I highlighted it below), but my diamond does not really have the same thing. Is that a good or bad thing?

I took a look at a couple Whiteflash A Cut Above diamonds which are cut to super-ideal standards (this one, for example), and they don't have the black area around the middle. It is usually exaggerated by a steeper pavilion angle. I actually prefer diamonds without it.
