Critique on 0.90ct round from JA

I was worried about the B because I was told there were asymmetrical dark triangles at the 5 o clock causing light loss, as well as the smaller face up size well below 6.25mm?

I guess HCA can trump that

Option A is better cut, whhitewave, I got results opposite to yours. A being the better cut, B being a no go for me.

Got opposite results?

As in Option A I got as 1.4, and B at 2.5.

IMG_3210.jpg I quadruple checked

Stone B : 2685641 .90 J VS1
T 56
D 62.5
CA 35.5
PA 40.6

HCA 1.4

Justin, the only reason we see dark on the stone is because the camera is too close. In real life, those are not dark.

I won't have an ideal scope or an aset image to look at. Is there any other observable differences that I can see upon looking at the table facet or 360 view which could sway an opinion?

I think the 0.91 VS2 is better. I am not liking the VS1 for couple reasons.

First is the extra contrast pattern at 5 o clock.
Second, 6.11-16mm is not something I would like to see for 0.9c. I expect 6.20mm.

The price is not that attractive either, considerng these flaws.

It does face up small, and other things mentioned

The thing that bothers me about option (A) is the black inclusion at 7 o' clock from the top. I would imagine this can be seen if looked at with the naked eye

The very first J VS2 is still the best.
I would not spend more than 3.5k on a 0.9c J.

Interesting...What is it to you about (C) that makes it subpar?

(c) appears to have potential. Too bad the photo is not well taken for assessment.

(a) appears to have a few black inclusions on the table which is bad... Will it perform as a "low" vs2?

To clarify from the confusion the very first link is my favourite.

I do like it as well. Just trying to understand it's clarity, especially with many black dots on the table

Those are tiny, microscopic, eye clean (if you are referring to the ones at the edge of the table to the right hand side)

Yeah, the ones around the edge as well as the fainter clusters near the center. That's good to know they're microscopic. I don't know what size of a black inclusion at the 360 mag will be visible in person if I tried to find it

I was not referring to the ones next to the girdle, I'm referring to the ones under the table. Look at the stone diameter, from there you can deduce. Zoom out of the video. Ask JA if it's eye clean, go look at VS2s in real life to get an idea

Oh right, my mistake. Thanks for the tips

Are the black inclusions on the girdle visible?

The stone is 0.9ct, GIA gave it VS2, even if it was SI2, most likely, you would not be able to see the inclusions. As others have said: pause the video. zoom out, screenshot and see if you can notice anything. It is a fine stone, you are thinking too much about some microscopic inclusions.
