Does anyone know anything about crisscut diamonds? The pictures of them seem like they're sparklier but still clean looking. Is there any way to tell by the table/depth, crown angles, etc. if it's a good one? Any ideas on cost? Thanks.:loopy:

From opinions I've read, the Crisscut is more sparkly and/or fiery than an emerald cut. The look is different than and emerald cut due to a different faceting pattern. They are more like a radiant cut in the opinion of some and are apparently cut more shallow.

They command a premium price.

They do command a premium price, but they give more look for the money as they are not deep cut and therefore have more diameter/width. You will not find them at every store. Only certain places handle that line.

I have seen some very effective pieces made with Criss cut stones.
