Credit Card vs Bank Wire?

Is there any benefit with paying with CreditCard instead of BankWire? BankWire is cheaper by 1.5-2%.
 
merchant saves on the credit card fees if you pay by wire typically. you don''t get the benefit of fighting a transaction if you aren''t dealing w/ a reputable dealer. for the most part, if you are working w/ a reputable company, you shouldn''t have a problem and you can go ahead and save the money with the bank wire.

Exactly. You would use a credit if you felt the need to have a safety net. If you''re unhappy with the purchase and the seller is being inflexible, you can always fight the charge with your credit card company. Paying cash leaves you with little options in an instance such as this.

Ditto, if you are comfortable with the vendor then bank wire can command a discount.
