Hello all,

I am in the middle of creating my wedding band and I am torn between some options. I always thought I wanted a simple thin microwave band, but I have two Brian Gavin bezel bands (approx 2mm Wide) and I think I'd like my wedding band to be a little more substantial than that since it's supposed to be THE band. I do like the comfort of a low profile ring... approx 2mm. I tried on a few bands and found that I also like fishtail pave and scalloped profiles. I also realize that anything over 2.55mm wide is overwhelming to me. My ring size is a 3.5.

I tried a 5 pointer band (2.4mm stones) and it is borderline too much. I like that it is substantial without being TOO much my for my fingers but the pave ends up very chunky and bold. I appreciate a more refined look.

Do you think going down to 4 pointer stones will do the trick, or would I have to go down to 3 pointers or less?

Does anyone have pics of 3-5 pointer bands with fishtail pave or scalloped/micro pave bands?

Would any of you have any other profile ideas that would work?

Or should I just accept that if I want a refined ring, I need to go with stones under 2mm (less than 3 pointers?)
