Crafted by Infinity/Wink question

It seems that Wink comes very highly recommended here and I am just wondering if I can order a complete piece or just the diamond(s) from Wink. I guess I would not want to offend jewelers I have worked with if I source diamonds through Wink and not through them.

Also, if you do use Wink what jeweler would you suggest to receive the diamond(s)?

Can you explain a little more what you mean? Are you wanting to order a complete piece of jewelry from Wink? You can do that if you wish. If you have someone else in mind to make the piece, tell us who that is and we will tell you if we'd buy the stones from them. It is customary to let the jewelry maker provide the melee stones in most cases. Some ring makers will not make a piece otherwise. They might allow the customer to provide the center stone, but they source the little stones. It's just hard to answer your question without understanding better what you are trying to do.

Sure...I would love a DBTY one station necklace. I have a few from: ID Jewelry, GOG and BG. My fav bezel setting is from BG but they do not seem to have a L~M color diamond avail in the $1k range.

I am not sure how to proceed and don’t know if I would offend BG if I do not select a diamond from them.

@Staceyjan I also don’t see anything on HPDs website in the L-M color range and your price range,did you already purchase the stone?
Otherwise, if you don’t find what you want with a specific vendor, then I am sure that you can have them set the stone for you, but honestly you might want to wait a bit if you can, new stock will be coming in after the holidays for all retailers.

Its such a simple, elegant setting. If you buy the diamond from HPD, I'd ask them to make the DBTY. I'd just be clear with HPD about what makes the BGD special/different from the others you have.
