Crack or girdle reflection?

Hello!

I just got engaged and was passed down his grandmother's ring. It is beautiful and I love it, but today at work, I accidentally hit my hand on the corner of my desk and the ring caught. Not hard, but enough for the ring to push back on my finger and to make me worry.

So tonight as I was looking at it, I notice a horizontal line in the stone. I want to say it isn't a crack, but at the same time, I never noticed it before today. Can anyone lend me some advice? I have attached photos (hopefully it works). Thank you in advance! I'm new to all of this and want to be sure I don't need to have it looked at.

Also, please forgive me if this post is not in the correct location. I couldn't decide if this was the best place for it or not.

those photos are not good enough.

Need a better photo, see a local jeweller, or get a cheap loupe.

Clean that diamond it is filthy.
Damage is unlikely but very slightly possible as indicated in the image.
It looks more like a prong reflection to me.
Anyway take it and have the prongs and diamond checked and cleaned at a local jeweler is my recommendation.
In all likelihood the diamond is fine :}
