Hi all!

We have gone back and forth but I'm finally down to 3 choices for my solitaire engagement ring, my jeweler gave her approval for these three stones, I am quite literally the most indecisive person on this planet so this gives me extreme anxiety (lol) so I would love some help comparing the 3. The last one is slightly smaller than I wanted to go so leaning away from that one unless it's really that much better. Also, one of them scored a 0.9 HCA, I read on another forum that under a 1 on the HCA might be better for earrings or pendants but from my research it looks pretty good? Does that really matter? Thanks in advance I really would appreciate the help!!

The 3.51 is my favorite. The HCA of 0.9 is not a problem at all. The HCA was revamped several years ago, so it's more on a case-by-case basis whether there would be an issue with scores under 1.

Any chance that you would have access to the videos? That would allow ppl to comment on the crystal quality and a few other items. Will you be able to compare these in person, or will your jeweler only bring in one at a time?

How exciting for you and congrats on your engagement!

Unfortunately my jeweler isn’t local so I won’t be able to compare in person but she will be! Do you happen to know how to post the video?

Thank you! Could I ask why?

I like the hue on the 3.46 best and it looks very nicely cut. I also like the 3.51 because it has better brilliance and symmetry images than the 3.52.

I agree, the hue looks better but those videos are from different websites (different type of certificates too) so I am not sure if that comes into play. Thank you for your advice!

I found these diamonds listed online...how does your jeweler's pricing compare?
3.51 - $8900
3.52 - $6300
3.46 - $5300

Thanks! Similar but a touch lower! Which is interesting. What do you think regarding the diamonds?

Also, would you be willing to tell me how to find the pricing online for the 3.51 and 3.52 without giving away too much info, she was going to order but I don’t know if she has secured them yet. I tried putting their certificate number into google but could only find the 3.46. I would also love your opinion on which you like the most too, you always seem to give good advice, thank you!!

After seeing the videos, I like the 3.46 and then the 3.51.

I found a video of the 3.51 from the same company that made the video of the 3.46! Looks a lot different now (at least to my untrained eye) I think it was the difference of two different companies making the videos we were comparing.

Not to throw a wrench in your system, but are you set on your jeweler and GCAL8x? While searching for your stones, I came across a 3.46 E VS1 CA 34.7, PA 40.8, Table 56.5, Depth 61.5 for $2758. Of course, it would have to be vetted by the experts here, but thought I'd just let you know. The prices out there are blowing me away.

And I found two of your diamonds online. If you're online, I'll let you know how I found them, or @DejaWiz can tell you, too. It's better if we wait until you're online so no one else can scoop them from under you.

Wow!! That price
I think I’m leaning towards the 3.51 so I don’t want to confuse myself with more options because I definitely will confuse myself. Thank you though!! Appreciate it!

Anything jumping out at you amongst these?
Perhaps some specific requests and potential price matching from your jeweler, if so?
